Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is the third biggest forest in Uganda. It is located on the Congo border at the perimeter of the western Rift
Valley. It is a proper rain forest,Gorilla safaris

laid
out steep ridges and valleys, and it is taken as one of the most
biologically varied forests in Africa.

Tourism is mainly based on
gorilla tracking and over a half of the earth’s mountain gorilla
numbers survive from here. There are approximately 15 troops made up of
about 300 individuals. a lot of the vegetation is like that of Mgahinga
with a very tightly packed, thick bushes –bringing out the name
“Impenetrable” turning gorilla trekking into very exhausting work.
*during the moment of writing there were two entirely habituated groups
and the greatest number of six guests per group per day are permitted.
The activity takes about two and six hours of an exhausting trek to
search for the gorillas, and afterwards you are permitted an hour’s stay
with them.

Bwindi contains a number of vegetation with montane
and lowland forests, the Mubwindi swamp together with a widespread stand
of bamboo. This wealthy ecosystem is a habitat to 93 mammal species
and 10 various types of primates, as well as the mountain gorilla,
chimpanzee, blue monkey, black and white colobus, red-tailed monkey,
L’Hoest’s monkey,Bequia hotels
Demidoff’s galago bushbaby, baboon, potto and
needle-clawed galago. Six antelope species are found here, including
bushbuck and five types of forest duiker. A sum of 345 birds has been
registered, and this vicinity is dwelling to about 300 types of
butterfly.

Besides, 14 species of snakes can be spotted in
Bwindi, 27 types of frogs, in addition to several species of chameleons,
lizards, skinks, and geckos. There are beyond 163 species of trees in
Bwindi forest, and part of the most important being the magnificent
Mahogany trees.

The park headquarters can be found at Buhoma,
approximately 108kms from Kabale. The journey to Bwindi is very
attractive, going through the villages, forests and gorgeous tea
plantations.Gambia holidays
The Buhoma community campsite is a lovely place found on a slope of
grass just on the outskirts of the park gates. It encloses the thick
forest gallery, and makes you question how on earth you are able to
track gorillas through this place, but most tourists do handle when
motivated to look face to face at these interesting animals.

More
to that, Bwindi provides additional activities apart from gorilla
tracking. There are five special trails ranging from 30 minutes to eight
hours providing breathtaking scenery,botswana safari

monkeys and birdlife. Part of the gorgeous trails is the Waterfall Trail
crossing the Munyaga River numerous times prior to getting to the
thirty three-meter high waterfall. The bridges and forest vegetation
enroute look like something made out of a story book, similar to a
landscape garden of ferns, streams and waterfalls, apart from the wild
and natural forest. The Rushara Hill Trail and Mzubijiro Loop provide
amazing sceneries across to the Virunga Mountains.

Besides, 14 species of snakes can be spotted in Bwindi, 27 types of frogs, in addition to several species of chameleons, Africa Tours lizards, skinks, and geckos. There are beyond 163 species of trees in Bwindi forest, and part of the most important being the magnificent Mahogany trees.

The park headquarters can be found at Buhoma, approximately 108kms from Kabale. The journey to Bwindi is very attractive, going through the villages, forests and gorgeous tea plantations. The Buhoma community campsite is a lovely place found on a slope of grass just on the outskirts of the park gates. It encloses the thick forest gallery, namibia safari and makes you question how on earth you are able to track gorillas through this place, but most tourists do handle when motivated to look face to face at these interesting animals.

More to that, Bwindi provides additional activities apart from gorilla tracking. There are five special trails ranging from 30 minutes to eight hours providing breathtaking scenery,Africa safari monkeys and birdlife. Part of the gorgeous trails is the Waterfall Trail crossing the Munyaga River numerous times prior to getting to the thirty three-meter high waterfall. The bridges and forest vegetation enroute look like something made out of a story book, similar to a landscape garden of ferns, streams and waterfalls, apart from the wild and natural forest. The Rushara Hill Trail and Mzubijiro Loop provide amazing sceneries across to the Virunga Mountains.botswana safari

Murchison Falls National Park, in the north-west of the country is Uganda’s largest national Park.safari clothing It is home to elephant, buffalo, lion and leopard, as well as a healthy population of hippo and huge crocodiles on the River Nile.
Drive to Murchison Falls National Park with its 76 mammal species and 450 bird species. Have lunch enroute in Masindi or a picnic in the Kaniyo-Pabidi forest.Gorilla Tracking Continue to Murchison Falls National Park through Kichumbanyobo gates or cross by ferry to your lodge on the northern bank of the River Nile for dinner and overnight. Paraa Safari Lodge (L,D)

Day 2

After lunch, enjoy a cruise on the Nile River to the bottom of the thundering falls where crocodiles, hippos, buffaloes, elephants and a variety of water birds can be seen. Paraa Safari Lodge (B,L,D)

Day 3

Drive to the “Top of the Falls” for a breathtaking sight of the raging Nile at the point where the river explodes through a narrow gorge and cascades down to become a placid river.Uganda safari Proceed to Kampala with lunch enroute and transfer to the airport for a return flight.
